I am a licensed and certified nuclear medicine technologist with an extensive background in physics and engineering. I am experienced in both conventional nuclear medicine and PET imaging. I believe my certification and my unique background as a physicist make me an exceptional candidate for both short and long term technologist positions. I am willing to travel out of state. Worked for a staffing agency that specialized in short to mid length placements in both hospitals and private cardiology practices. My assignments ranged from 1 day to 13 weeks. Independently perform all duties and procedures required of a nuclear medicine technologist including lymphoscintigraphy and sentinel node detection, MUGA, rest and stress myocardial perfusion gated SPECT studies, renal, HIDA, 131I-NP59 adrenal imaging, including processing all data to name a few. Also performed all necessary duties in the cardiac stress room as needed. I also work independently in the hot lab and draw and prepare needed doses from kits, and keep accurate records. I also prepare the patient, answer all questions and fully explain the procedure. Perform all daily, weekly, and quarterly quality control on gamma camera, uptake probe and well, and dose calibrator. Also familiar with NMIS and some PACS systems.
